Spring is finally upon us here in Southern California and while many schools are on spring break and weekends are spent outside, there has never been a better time to get out and smell the flowers, literally. The Carlsbad Flower Fields are 50 acres of breathtaking flowers and fresh, crisp air that leaves your senses feeling pleasantly overwhelmed.
Located in Carlsbad, California (northern San Diego county), the Carlsbad Flower Fields provide the perfect backdrop for photos, events, or a beautiful afternoon stroll.
With the main attraction being the 50 acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculuses, anyone can feel at ease and have an enjoyable experience walking among the warm colors while taking advantage of the, usually perfect, southern California weather.
Only open for a few months each year (March to May), it is best to stay updated by following their site or facebook page for the opening and closing dates of each annual season.
Admission for the day is $12 for adults and $6 for children with their tractor rides being an additional charge.
